I'm trying, really hard, to build a deck around Ersatz Gnomes . Rules for this deck was that it was a mandatory 4-of.

For now the main synergy is with Earnest Fellowship . Ersatz Gnomes can effectively remove creatures' protections, thanks to it being colorless. Ghostfire Blade is in flavor and useful so it's in there. Ceremonious Rejection was also a 4-of due to flavor and synergy with Ersatz Gnomes . A single Moonlace for spice. Then I added some red-hate with Hydroblast and Blue Elemental Blast which synergizes with Scuttlemutt and Prismatic Lace and Quickchange , which also give some possible flexibility with Earnest Fellowship . Lastly, I was pretty desperate for card draw because of the low cost of everything so I added Prophet of Distortion which was in flavor too.

Another fun thing is that a lot of stuff can be used two ways. You can use Quickchange to protect one of your colorless creatures from a colored creature, or to make a valid target for Hydroblast , etc..

I'd considered Celestial Dawn , but couldn't figure out how to make it work.
