Best Version of Sisay

I have a Sisay, Weatherlight Captain deck that focuses on a combo and can usually go off turn 6 or so. But nobody in my playgroup really likes combo decks so I was wondering which direction to take the deck. I was thinking shrines or legends but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to combine the two. Give me your opinion and if you think there are any good cards for either type of deck please suggest them!

I have a fascinating politics brew with Sisay. With the likes of Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis, Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist, Mathas, Fiend Seeker, Kiora, the Crashing Wave, and Kenrith, the Returned King, you'd be surprised how many legendary creatures excel at politics. I could name a dozen more- after all, I built the deck!

I have a Sisay enchantress shrine deck and I find it to be very enjoyable to play. A combination of shrines and legends I believe would/could be more optimized though. So if your meta is higher power, I'd say go combo otherwise go full shrines.

I’ve seen Sisay good stuff. It was fun to go against and usually became the archenemy. You can’t not become the archenemy when you can search for answers like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Linvala, Keeper of Silence, or ramp like Gaea's Cradle and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, etc. Since Sisay fixes the card advantage half of winning a commander game, as well as card quality, my only suggestion is to fit good ramp into your deck and play out threats and replay Sisay when she inevitably gets removed several times.

Just to clarify and I'm sorry I didn't do this earlier, I want to run Jegantha, the Wellspring as my companion.

Shrines are fun and they're not explosive enough to warrant backlash from casuals. Combining the 2 things though may need your consistency and up your variance; so, I'd suggest play testing both.

Personally, I have a Sisay deck based around locking the board down with legendary hate like Gaddock Teeg and Narset, Parter of Veils and other cards like that. The deck has worked pretty well for me, but you would probably have to give up Jegantha as a companion because Seedborn Muse is pretty integral to the deck's strategy.

As it happens, King_marchesa, my politics deck has no more than a handful of cards that Jegantha would object to.
