I am looking to make an affinity style edh deck. who would u reccomend as a general?
Master Transmuter , Gilded Lotus , Mycosynth Golem Thoughtcast , Assert Authority , Frogmite , Myr Enforcer , Broodstar

I would probably agree with Epochalyptik's first choice of Memnarch though his second choice gives you access to Master Transmuter . In this case I'd almost look at the cards you can add to the deck and then decide what kind of general you want. I mean you could probably make a case for Glissa, the Traitor too.

Master Transmuter will be available with any of those generals; they all have a blue color identity.
The one you choose should reflect how you want to approach the deck.

oh yea forgot about the fact that color identity includes any symbol on the card including activated abilities.

Sharuum the Hegemon or Sen Triplets give you the greatest options for artifact colors. Both allow you to get the Sphinx of the Steel Wind and Magister Sphinx which are EDH game winners.
