After ages of peaceful, stationary contemplation certain trees long to fully explore their midsummer home: to bask in the warmth of eternal sunlight elsewhere and experience firsthand how the other races live. Trees are born again as they gain sentience and uproot themselves from their ancient birthplace. Nourished by the soil of their plane, Treefolk are speakers of the land and bestow sagely wisdom to all who choose to listen. Their rings can tell of stories that can outshine even the greatest kithkin folktales, and their bark is made mighty during their travels. They are survivors, and ensure that their knowledge endures as long as the sun shines eternally on the plane.

Bolster the Battalion:

  1. Cultivate a field of hardy, stalwart Treefolk to out-value opponents.

  2. The deck can quickly build mana resources to pay for its lofty creatures: Wall of Roots is a potent defender and can double as a way to build up mana and Treefolk Harbinger can search out the deck's central land card, Murmuring Bosk, in addition to most other cards in the deck.

Part of my ongoing project to make decks for each of the 8 Lorwyn tribes, each casual/ multiplayer pseudo-block constructed decks meant to be balanced against each other:

  3. My Treefolk deck
  4. My Giant deck
  5. My Merrow deck
  6. My Elemental deck
  7. My Boggart deck
  8. My Kithkin deck
