Ratchet bomb is well positioned since it deals with hydras. It also covers some of the color weaknesses of blue and green. Pithing needle beats both aetherling and planeswalkers. Hydras are good against a lot of the threats in the format. So, why not play a deck with all of these things and more? Vorel turbo-charges ratchet bomb.
