Playing Big

This deck aims to take advantage of the mana producing ability of Basalt Monolith by dumping it into a large Fireball. The deck also has access to Mana Flare and of course Sol Ring to have some really explosive plays.

Early game, Lightning Bolt can keep creatures at bay or deal direct damage, and Black Vise can slip under a control player's Counterspells. These Black Vises will come in handy later after a Wheel of Fortune refills both player's hands! This deck also employs the help of Jayemdae Tome to keep it's hand full of spells.

Isn't it obvious? It's Fireball! Disintegrate is a one-of that acts basically the same, with the upside of being able to hate on Animate Dead decks.

To get the most out of Mana Flare and to make sure your opponent can't cast a giant Drain Life or Braingeyser, try to build up some land before casting. If you have a Basalt Monolith or Sol Ring in play, use it to help pay for Mana Flare to get some immediate use of your lands.
