The basic idea: If they have a creature, you should probably consider removing it. The islands are placeholders for Charizards, and by that i mean sideboard cards you'd add to customize for your own meta.

Anger of the Gods Rremoves threats. We don't like threats.

Ashcloud Phoenix resileant threat that forces a 2 for 1.

Hero's Downfall Removes threats. We don't like threats.

Lightning Strike solid early removal.

Magma Spray Shock isn't a bad card. It's not lightning bolt but it's not bad.

Murderous Cut this card is laughably easy to cast for 1-2 mana. Removes threats. We don't like threats.

Ob Nixilis, Unshackled Our deck constantly removes threats and he gets bigger whenever we do that. In addition, he removes a player's ability to use fetch lands.

Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker Sarkhan is basically a stormbreath dragon that can remove threats on choice. Sure, he's not a 7/7 flyer but i'm not a fan of investing 10 mana into something. There's too much risk in this format that's full of removal.

Thoughtseize I don't need to validate the presence of thoughtseize. It's just insane.
