This looks nasty, but why only 3 whisper?

McKz probably should run a fourth, been tweaking and playtesting the deck to try and lock in numbers i want. Had lots of games where i kept drawing the angels too early when i needed interaction so i dropped it to three but it wouldn't surprise me if i put it back to four eventually

Brofessor_X, I thought about putting them in originally but they don't give as much value as i would like. If I were to do any single target flickers it would be Acrobatic Maneuver but i find just using displace is usually fine. From the play testing I've done so far i can mostly just counter whatever they are to cast or use a Displace if i really need to. Displace also is a lot better when i am comboing off with Torrential Gearhulk or Wispweaver Angel.

I'd suggest cutting the Spell Shrivel for another Void Shatter.

NippDip When i combo out i can create infinite colorless mana from scions and draw my deck. At that point I have to pass the turn and hold up counterspells. Having some counters that don't require double blue like shrivel and unsubstantiate is relevant for that. If i have 3 blue up at the end of the chain on the opponents turn it allows me to hold up shrivel and shatter rather than just shatter.

Nice deck. Would you use Eldrazi Displacer?

NomadArtificer thought about it but dont want to deal with colorless sources. It was also in an old build of the deck but found there were times where 6 mana to flicker the first thing was needed but I didnt have it yet. (I know wispweaver is also 6 mana but i look past it because it goes infinite)

@Firebones675, Eldrazi Skyspawner would give you all the colorless energy you'd need.

Drowner of Hope and Eldrazi Displacer with a Panharmonicon out is also infinite....

nolio36, I am aware of that combo however as I said in the description I decided not to the displacer. When I was testing with it, I felt Displace worked just as well while being able to be targeted with gearhulk. This deck functions more of a control deck with the potential to go infinite rather than one that requires the combo. It's fun to go off, but i'd rather have enough dedicated slots to countermagic rather than the drowner/displacer.

just so you know Reflector Mage is now banned in standard which will take effect 1/20/2017. Just a heads up.

This is a pretty awesome lis, so you get +1 from me. I'd appreciate if you took a look at my flicker deck: Eternal Displaceness (finite combo flicker)
