This deck uses counters to its strength. I focused on cards that provides bonuses for creatures with counters. Most of the creatures have evolve except for Ivy Lane Denizen and Kalonian Hydra. Ivy Lane Denizen adds a +1/+1 Counter to a green creature that enters the battlefield. Kalonian Hydra is the "monster" of this deck that doubles the number of counters on creatures with each attack.

I added several spells that take advantage of counters. Hintervine while costly prevents all damage to creatures with counters. And bioshift allows me to move counters from one creature to another. I figure this is a good card to prevent players from destroying or taking control of a creature. As well, it would allow me to move counters to a non-blocked creature for a final kill.
