Prototype deck trying to abuse Awaken the Ancient in the three months that Innistrad is still Standard-legal. Basically, it's a three-card combo: Burning-Tree Emissary into Infernal Plunge gives you the mana for Awaken the Ancient on turn two. And who doesn't like plopping down a 7/7 on turn two? As a backup plan, the deck is also a functional aggressive deck, modeled after current similar decks.

The post also includes other options for cards and deck builds (including slower, less clunky versions). For the most part, what I'm looking for in comments here is ways to make this deck smoother and faster while still being able to pull off the main idea, or ways to get Awaken the Ancient out more reliably while maintaining speed. Sideboard ideas would also be useful, since I'm not too great at sideboard planning.
