Thank you for that. That will help immensely.

I see a few big creatures here and I'm not sure how you intend to cast them. Without ramp, you'll be hardpressed to cast a 6 drop, let alone an 8 drop. You might actually have an easier time reanimating them, seeing as you seem to have a bit of a discard theme going. Perhaps something with Goryo's Vengeance for reanimation and Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip or Liliana of the Veil to fuel your own graveyard synergies.

The Blood Funnel doesn't make much sense to me. You don't seem to especially want to sac your creatures, and your noncreature spells mostly don't have even 2 colorless mana in their cost; most of the time, you'd get just as much mana off a Birds of Paradise.

Yeah I haven't gotten much out of the blood funnels in the playtests so I think goryo's vengeance is the swap here to reanimate Griselbrand.

As you are planning on discarding and reanimating, you could stand to have more than two Griselbrands, since you obviously won't have more than one on the battlefield at a time

-1 Grisly Salvage, +1 Griselbrand

Snaps? If you're gonnna be running snaps you need ur removal in the mainboard. Just seems like you're spreading urself too thin, try to condense your strategy. One of my good friends is an extremely good semi-pro player, what he told me when building decks is, you need to look for value. Like in my deck I run pyromancers, but then to get actual value out of the tokens I have drana for +1/+1 counters, and blood artist/damnation for an insta win board wipe. Ask yourself a few questions. What do I want this deck to do? Do I want to win with Griselbrand? Do I want to beat people down with goyf/flayer? Or do I want to be a reactive/flash/instant deck with Snaps? Not trying to be a Debbie downer, but if you're trying to make this thing competitive, and at that price tag I hope you are, you need to condense yourself and work on your mana curve.

If your goal was to create the most expensive deck ever, you forgot the Ancestral Recall and Black Lotus.

GreenisGod I am indeed looking to be competitive, I haven't purchased this deck yet im still in the playtest stage, tightening down the gears. I've been considering sideboarding the snaps for awhile or mainboarding the control element. Im learning that my wincon is griselbrand and I usually swing with him turn 3-5. I think ill mainboard my control package, thanks.

I think you should go heavy on the Grisel plan, make it a reanimator style deck and get him out without paying his mana cost. Keep your early beaters like the flayer to pummel your opponent and then bam, grisel from the yard and GG.

Kozilek and thoughtseize should be in your mainboard too. A combination of 5 works great

March 2, 2017 12:01 a.m.

Ok GreenisGod, I'll fix that thank you. So early removal control into a griselbrand. You think I should run a 4 of on gris with vengeance?

March 2, 2017 9:15 a.m.

GreenisGod how does it look now? I think it's pretty solid.

March 2, 2017 9:39 a.m.

Much better. I would trade out the Lotleth Trolls for more of your other creatures like the flayer and kitchen finks. They're just way more dominant. All in all, huge improvement, you're just gonna have to play it and figure our what beats it to make it even better.

March 2, 2017 9:56 a.m.

Well in my playtest im getting a turn two 4/3 or bigger troll that allows me to discard griselbrand to vengeance him turn 3. Still think I should swap out?

March 2, 2017 10:11 a.m.

-1 Jace, +1 grim Flayer for a 4 of

March 2, 2017 10:26 a.m.

No if you're getting him that big then he probably will work for you. He's fairly inexpensive too so if he ends up not working you can swap him out. The sideboard is very solid so if he doesn't work out the way you'd like, there's great removal you can put in there instead. The only thing is, if you're using a creature to get to your Win-Con, people are going to key in on removing the Troll. As opposed to say Cathartic Reunion. You could even add Bloodghast if you were to go that route. But if the Troll is getting you turn 3 Grisels, then I say keep it until you find out if it's consistent enough.

March 2, 2017 10:28 a.m.

There are better options than reunion, just the first example that popped into my head.

March 2, 2017 10:31 a.m.

I will keep that in mind and look around for viable options to run alternatively. Thanks for all your help, let me know if you can think of anything else!

March 2, 2017 10:34 a.m.

You probably need more 1 drops, Faithless Looting instead of the Brood Tyrant and Grisly Salvage is what I would do. Recycles your hand and lets you get rid of a Grisel if he's in your hand.

March 2, 2017 10:36 a.m.

You're welcome! Happy to help

March 2, 2017 10:37 a.m.

Ideas Unbound or Magus of the Bazaar?

March 2, 2017 10:40 a.m.

I can't run faithless I don't have red in my deck. I could swap out the blue for red entirely but I don't really want to do that for one card...I don't know...

March 2, 2017 10:43 a.m.

-1 brood tyrant, -2 salvage, +3 faithless looting, -1 polluted delta, -1 misty Rainforest, +2 blood crypt?

March 2, 2017 10:47 a.m.

Nice, I like it. Maybe not the blood Crypt's, you really only want 1 maybe 2 of each shockland. The last thing you want is to be dealing damage to yourself with every land. I would just look at the Jund archetype and use the lands they do, shocklands aren't cheap, I was running 4 of Overgrown Tombs in my Golgari deck, and I was just doing too much damage to myself, yeah you get that lifelink from Grisel but Burn will kill you before you have a chance to get it back. You'll probably want a Ghost Quarter to deal with Tron and other land reliant decks. Just a 1 of though, since its colorless mana.
