Attempts to start laying down at least one fatty per turn starting on turn 2 or 3 at the latest. Peema Outrider is the only 4/4 for 4 with Trample in the format, but it can also come out with a decoy 1/1 against Edicts. Aurochs Herd and Llanowar Sentinel offer card advantage, along with Lead the Stampede. Penumbra Spider protects against flyers and is very resilient against removal. Ulamog's Crusher is an obvious finisher that can come out early with lucky draws. The most explosive opening hands include one ramp spell and Arbor Elf, but the deck can still accelerate consistently without the Elf.
