Llanowar Sentinel Discussion

Esbilon on Angel ramp

Glad to see someone else trying to ramp into angels :)

As you probably know, Priest of Titania is not Modern legal, but Elvish Archdruid is! He's a bit more expensive, but also buffs your elves. I also recommend Llanowar Sentinel for getting a lot of elves onto the battlefield quickly, if you also have a decent amount of untapping of your elves going on (unfortunately most of the cards that do that are not Modern legal either).

If you're going to use Hexaflexagon's list as a starting point, I would probably skip Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Kitchen Finks as the former is very expensive and the latter doesn't really do much for your deck. Instead, maybe consider Sigarda, Host of Herons or Shalai, Voice of Plenty.

If you're interested, you can also take a look at my Naya angels ramp deck Angels of Paradise, though that's more white splashing red and green than white-green splashing red.

I like this idea.

I think turning four Squadron Hawk into a bunch of Brothers Yamazaki would be incredible fun. If you just had those, you'd have 5 hasty 10/9 creatures.

Maybe Llanowar Sentinel since it's on color, but I don't know.
