This is a basic budget build around High Alert . Fortified Rampart , Hover Barrier , and Jelenn Sphinx all become major threats once High Alert is out. Resolute Watchdog gives you protection, Wall of Essence gives you life, Geist of the Archives lets you scry each turn, and Cryptic Annelid digs deep to help you find your Alert.

Relatively cheap upgrades include Wall of Denial , Stalwart Shield-Bearers , and Drift of Phantasms , which can tutor up High Alert. Rhox Faithmender would also be a nice addition.
