Here is a Black/Red Rakdos deck. Its strategy is to deal constant damage to my opponent to trigger the discounted mana costs or additional effects of my Spectacle cards.

Most of the creatures and spells in this deck deal direct damage to opponents in some way. Besides the actual burn spells, many of my creatures have abilities that deal damage when they enter the battlefield, like Rakdos Firewheeler , when they die like Footlight Fiend , or just deal damage every turn like Spawn of Mayhem .

Then there are cards with the Spectacle ability. Skewer the Critics gets a discount with Spectacle and deals damage, as does Spawn of Mayhem 's ability.
