Groundbreaker and Ball Lightning break balls.

I've had this deck or some variant of it for years now, and it's always fun and brutal when it hits.

With the aforementioned Elementals, you can play the normal turn curve or ramp with a turn 1 Forest into Magus of the Vineyard, and turn 2 you can play a land. Either tap the Forest for , add with Magus of the Vineyard and drop Groundbreaker. If your other land is a Forest, play Might of Old Krosa for 10 damage. If it was a Mountain, you could Infernal Plunge the Magus for and play Ball Lightning, Might of Old Krosa on it, attack and play another Magus or a Glistener Elf.

Another killer early game play is Turn 1 Forest, Glistener Elf, Turn 2 Mountain and play Assault Strobe + Might of Old Krosa for 10 infect damage. This deck is great if your opponent has no early blockers, obviously.

My not so Modern build has Berserk in it.
