The goal is to ramp our mana and play Ulamog as early as possible for no cost. The deck does have alternate conditions to win as Verdurous Gearhulk adds a mid game threat to all of my creatures, not to mention Elder Deep-fiend keeps the board in check while I set up. The function of each mana dork is key. Almost all creatures will give Gyre Sage a counter, meaning more mana will be produced. This synergizes well with Oath of Nissa, because I can play Nissa, Steward of Elements very quick and with a lot of loyalty counters. This allows me to open up my deck and put big creatures on the field earlier than usual. Ulamog is hard to get out, but with all the creatures that allow Gyre Sgae to get counters, I'll have plenty to cast Nissa. Unexpected Results and Rashmi are only here for situations where I can't hit what I need when I need it. Rashmi is only one of because it has limited function in a ramp deck (although it can be dangerous mid game), but Unexpected Results is really good. It can be played very early and either helps our mana curve multiple times, or gets a creature on the field. Naga Vitalist can get blue mana if Oath of Nissa hasn't been cast or I for some reason couldn't hit Gyre Sage. Nissa, Voice of Zendikar allows me to either pump my creatures and win the game in the mid to late stages or get Gyre Sage going. Overall, I think the deck does have pretty good synergy within itself, but if there are any recommendations, they'd be greatly appreciated.
