Trust me, I counted. The maximum amount of mana that you can use to cast Torment of Hailfire is 250, naming X as 248. Although, generally once X is in the two digits, especially on turn 4 or 5, you've won.

This deck is a slightly-edited copy of my other deck Emrakul. The rest of the mechanics have stayed the same. I just thought it would be fun to pull in Torment of Hailfire specifically so I could say the line above, although I'd never be able to say '248' in real life.
