Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.
Variety XX
Sorcery
If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.
Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

The Dimir heard rumors that the Golgari had the means to create a fluid that would erase all existence of nearly anything it came into contact with. They inquired about this with the Izzet League who, despite their nature, cautioned heavily about such an invention. To the Dimir Syndicate's surprise however, the Simic Combine found this far too fascinating to pass up.
Challenge: Turn this artwork into a card.
- Easy: Make a creature from Innistrad

This could be part of a 2-color Warchief cycle.
Make another 2-color Warchief. Give it two somewhat related tribes to enhance, and a similar concept to the mono-colored Warchiefs. You don't have to extend the cycle if you don't want to.

Glorb the Consumer

Deathtouch
Whenever Glorb the Consumer deals lethal combat damage to another creature, you may pay life equal to that creature's mana value. If you do, exile it and choose one of its abilities. Put an ability counter on Glorb and Glorb gains that ability for as long as it has that counter. If an ability requires colored mana to activate, you may spend mana of any color to do so.

If you do you may search your library for a card with the same number of words in it's text box (Yes, you include reminder text) (No, you may not include reminder text if the reminder text is not printed on that particular card.) (Yes, this card has three reminder texts.) and cast it without paying it's mana costs. You still pay other costs such as discarding cards, paying life and / or sacrificing permanents.

As ~ enters the battlefield, each player chooses Cleveland Guardians or Philadelphia Phillies.
Cleveland Guardians- If five vehicles with different names deal combat damage to a single opponent in a single combat step, that opponent loses the game.
Philadelphia Phillies- At the beginning of each end step, if one or more sources an opponent controls deals 10 or more damage in a turn, proliferate. You gain life equal to the total number of loyalty counters on each planeswalker you control. If you gained 20 life in a single turn this way, you win the game.
Couldn't leave either of my teams off the card.

Repeat and there was a second challenge along with it. Last deck I played against was the Dihada Mardu one, after a coworker of mine bought it.

: Add three mana of any color. If this mana was used to cast a legendary spell, that spell can't be countered.
After the war on Ravnica, it became known that worlds outside of their own existed. Eventually the Izzet developed the technology and found Kaladesh, where further scientific research opened a brand new form of energy, with untold consequences.
This should be a good one.
Make a land that uses the symbol, that doesn't allow itself to go infinite with mana production.

It still can go infinite, but I put the sacrifice as an activation cost so that it would need help to do so. And the life loss hinders it's infinite capabilities as well.

Whenever you would cast a spell, you may pay life equal to twice the generic casting portion of its mana cost rather than pay mana.
Cherls couldn't afford to keep his home, property or family with the income he was receiving. But what he could do is offer an undying loyalty to the Syndicate. Unfortunately for Cherls, they took this claim a little more seriously than he had anticipated.
I mean yeah sure if you want to pay 20 life to free-cast Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger go right ahead.

Unless I am mistaken, you could not free-cast Progenitus because it doesn't have generic mana symbols. You would be able to free-cast Ulamog because it only has a generic symbol. A creature such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope would thus cost you 10 life and .
I'd build a deck for him. Given that we now have both Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth as well as Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth, suddenly your fetch lands are extra spicy.
Make a Commander you want to build a deck for after you submit your post.

I suspect he is far too powerful. I'm considering upping the activation costs to from on the generic side, and changing discard to mill. Because if an opponent only has 4 cards in hand and you happen to have 4 Saproling tokens, that isn't exactly fair. You can literally target a single opponent and ensure they never have a card in hand for the rest of the game.
Yeah, that just isn't fair or right. I'll update and it'll change when it goes through. The rest can stay as is. Although, I am also not sold on Hexproof. I'll probably downgrade that into Ward . Hexproof on a Commander that strikes an opponent directly is a very hard sell.

TypicalTimmy Ok, I understand. The way you worded the card, it seemed like if you paid life to cast the spell, that paid for all of its cost. At MV8, I expected that to be the case.

That's a character from possibly my favorite book ever.
I don't know how to word this where the token doesn't go infinite on its own, but just imagine that if I did it wrong that it should be worded however is implied in the design.
I'm in my cups. Make a new card type. That might occupy you for a second.

I know they are nondescript enchantments, but since the challenge is a new card type (not subtype, not supertype. But card type), I'm going to do the sin and make it it's own.

Red spells you control cost less to cast. They cost an additional less to cast if there are no other colors in their identity.
Red planeswalkers you control enter the battlefield with an additional loyalty counter.
Jaya's sacrifice was felt across the multiverse by those who shared her spark. And those who felt her passion, felt her pain the most.
God it would be a pain in the ass to remove these. You'd need a card such as All Is Dust or Utter End. That alone makes these unbelievably far too powerful. But, it meets the challenge criteria.
You guys and gals remember the Army thing from War of the Spark? God I hated that "mechanic". A single creature being super big is cool and all, but an entire "Army" represented by a single token? So my puny little 1/1 can thematically block your hoard of 10,000 zombies strong? Yeah, no. I disliked that, very much so.
Make a card that reimagines the Army subtype.

This guy can go tall if you need to go tall, or wide if you need to go wide. It still technically can be blocked by a single Goblin or whatever, but that's when it should become a big pile of Soldiers. Hopefully this captures the right flavor.

Each creature you control becomes a copy of target creature until end of turn.
Creatures you control ignore the legend rule until end of turn.
There are some species and races the Simic wholly ignored. One being Angels. Since Angels are not biological entities, there was really no reason to study them. However, it turns out their blood is so pure, it can essentially force perfection within any form. As a result, the Simic Combine, now thirsty for Angelic blood, waged a war of genocide in the name of 'progress'.
If I recall, the Simic Combine were really the original villains of Ravnica, with Momir Vig, Simic Visionary having created and unleashed Experiment Kraj. So turning them into bloodthirsty savages again seemed appropriate.
I understand it's better suited for Eldraine, but I'd like to see a MTG version of Captain Hook and the crocodile that ate his hand (and clock) on Ixalan.
So your challenge is to make a Partners With pairing for them both.
- Please make it a Human Pirate and a Dinosaur Crocodile.

I'll be 100% completely honest, I haven't the slightest clue as to why Kung Lao is my favorite character in Mortal Kombat, but he is. Always has been since the second game.

I was unable to do Christmas this year for anybody in my family, due to several factors. One being I was lied to about my income earnings at my new job, another was credit card debt.
But mostly it was because I worked 19-1/2 hours the Friday before Christmas Eve, worked 10-1/2 hours on Christmas Eve, and I worked 14 hours Christmas day.
So my resolution is to make up for it and give everyone a better Christmas this year <3
(I left manufacturing for HVAC and was told I would match my wages and have income potential of $100,000 as an installer, especially on the commercial side. I've been earning equal to $40,000. That is a massive difference from what I was interviewed for.)
