A few of us founded a little village near the forest, just a couple of huts, really. We started cutting down the trees, first to build our homes, then for trade, believing the forest to be defenseless. The village grew and grew, soon became a bustling town. But the more we pushed forward into the woods, the more the beasts pushed back. Until one day, they all came. Now, all that's left is rubble, slowly being reclaimed by the trees.

Ramp to play Aura Gnarlid and Wirewood Savage early, put Snake Umbra on the Gnarlid, then overwhelm any defenses with hordes of beasts. Commune with the Gods helps you find the most important creatures and auras. Alternatively, use an overpowered Gnarlid to win by turn 4. This deck has a bit of a slow start, but can completely explode after a few turns - it's probably best for multiplayer games. While playtesting, I've had situations where I was able to draw my entire deck by turn 9. In order to get some payoff for this, I've thought about adding a single copy of Wild Mongrel. Ultimately, it didn't prove to be too useful during 1v1 matches, but might be good in multiplayer.

Inspired by tumamaenmondongo's mono green beasts!.
