Three games played. Success...ish! —July 13, 2016

Definitely works. I went 1-2 and the two losses were close and I probably could've won had I known the rules better and known My deck better.

Mind Unbound was stellar and Quest for Ula's Temple totally came in handy. I could see how it could be easily cut but if Braids gets table hate it could be invaluable. Probably wouldnt leave the side deck.

The first upgrades I want are Darksteel Colossus, Crawlspace, Caged Sun, Vanishing, Control Magic , Blatant Thievery, Rite of Replication, Duplicant, Chasm Skulker.

It That Betrays is just too good and fits the theft theme perfectly.

Oh man, I had Phyrexian Ingester in hand just waiting for Avacyn, Angel of Hope to come out and Heliod, God of the Sun to gain devotion in two games. Delicious!

So far, through limited playtesting, the card draw, removal, and Counterspell ratios felt balanced. Monsters felt good but could always be bigger!

Most Braids decks I've seen run no counterspells at all. What are peoples' thoughts? Arcane Laboratory might mitigate the need but that's just one card out of 99.
