Untapping synergy —July 28, 2024
Decided to swap over some of my draw and removal to creatures that tap. Perhaps a bit gimmicky, but I may as well lean into the creature-based removal. The deck's enchantment and artifact removal has taken a hit, though. I have a few other decks that go nuts on enchantment removal, so I think that's just this deck's identity now.
I also had a Minamo, School at Water's Edge that I bought almost two years ago for this deck and forgot.
Added: Visara the Dreadful, Intrepid Hero, Royal Assassin, Arcanis the Omnipotent, Patriar's Seal, Shorikai, Genesis Engine, and Minamo, School at Water's Edge
Removed: Island, Render Silent, Faerie Artisans, Treasure Cruise, Grand Abolisher, Erebos, God of the Dead, and Aura of Silence
I'm desperately trying to find room for Adarkar Valkyrie but I really love the balance of everything else is right now. It was in the very first build and now that I'm pivoting into heavy reanimator it feels weird not to have it.
