Sideboard

My goal originally was to make a lower level deck in general, but just chose pioneer because it sounded interesting. I started off with the zombie deck I was currently using which included the rotting regisaur. When looking into the meta I saw that this card was not commonly used.

I have come to realize that the group of friends I play with do not have as strong of decks as we think we do after seeing a lot of the decks on here haha, however, I have had a lot of success with this deck against non pioneer decks of different styles((flying, lifegain, mill etc...). I have never played against one of the main meta decks in pioneer and am curious how people think it would do.

Strategy: You really want to start with 3 mana in your hand, any less I will mulligan. Then it is simply about getting a Rotting Regisaur on the battlefield and either returning your opponents defenders to their hand or tapping them so that you can attack without blockers.

Cards with madness so you can take advantage of having to discard from the regisaur.

The majority of the cards in the deck are 3 mana so if you get a Disciple of Deceit you can pretty much always discard something to get a regisaur.

[Still working on the sideboard. Any suggestions are welcome]
