This deck has now gotten top 4 at FNM and top 8 at Gameday Theros.

Frostburn Weird is for Mono Red and Red/Blue Izzet decks. 1/4 makes it hard to burn, and even harder to get around. If you really want to, you can make him into a 2/3, 3/2, or a 4/1 and swing with him. Good for your devotion too.

Mizzium Mortars is when creatures get big. Good against Mono Black, Pack Rats, G/B, Mono Blue, Mono Green, and a few other decks. Nykthos can get it overloaded as early as turn 3.

Legion Loyalists are for Mono Blue Devotion, G/W Tokens, Pack Rat decks, and Izzet Pyromancer decks. Because who wants to be blocked by tokens, am I right?
