Playtesting changes —April 4, 2017

I've really decided to focus on the tempo control aspect of the deck (hence the name change). Also, I've made the deck a little heavier on creatures. The deck needed some more proactive ways to close out games. I've made a few changes and would appreciate any feedback on the changes.

Genesis Wave ---> Thrasios, Triton Hero: Genesis Wave kinda seemed off theme as a game finisher. An undeniably powerful spell, it has a better home in another deck of mine. It didn't really synergize with holding up mana for instant speed effects. Thrasios, on the other hand, completely synergizes with holding up mana for an opponent's end step. Mana can be sunk into him to manipulate the top deck and ramp.

Future Sight ---> Courser of Kruphix: Future Sight is great, but I always found it's 5 CMC a little high for top deck manipulation. I want those cards to be cheap in this deck so that I have enough mana open for all my control spells. Courser of Kruphix helps rid me of lands on my top deck and provides a body. This synergizes with my main win cons which are going wide with Overwhelming Stampede kinds of effects.

Foil ---> Capsize: Capsize probably should have been in here a long time ago. It's one of the ultimate tempo cards and can help me re-use ETB effects when need be. Foil is a good counterspell but my deck always seems to have enough counterspells.

Blustersquall ---> Managorger Hydra: The deck has plenty of control but not enough proactive cards to close out games. The hydra synergizes with Rashmi because her free casts will give it counters. Also works nicely with Kalonian Hydra in the magical christmasland of having them both out at the same time.

Kruphix, God of Horizons ---> Expropriate: As much as I like Kruphix, I often found him to be relatively dead in this deck. I would almost always use up my mana on control spells or flashing in permanents. It was rare that I was actually saving up mana. Expropriate gives me another win con card which is what the deck needed. I'm not a fan of tons of extra turn spells, but I like Expropriate because it truly does help end games due to its stealing effect. It's not just playing solitaire for the sake of playing solitaire.

Mind Stone ---> Kiora's Follower: Somehow I forgot all about Kiora's Follower. She's on theme as a small utility creature. Can be used for ramp early game and for untapping attackers so they can block in the later game.
