So for almost a year now. This deck had mutated into an Umori, the Collector deck. I'm bring back the original concept of this deck with some Strixhaven influence. While keeping the Ikoria-Mutate theme.
This deck has and alway will be an Auspicious Starrix based deck.
I'm just going to focus on him.

It's all about how everything pumps up everything else. Counter magic is for board swips and protecting the queen. Drawing five cards a turn doesn't hurt. Lieutenant is in the Sideboard, if needed. I contemplated the ozzy at first.

While drawing a bunch of cards won't hurt, the mana and time you spend on it and not on developing the board will. You're a fairly aggressive deck, so your card advantage comes from your opponent not being able to play most of their cards before you kill them. If you sacrifice time for cards, their deck (which likely isn't as aggressive and has better value mid-to-late game) has time to catch up and start playing its own gameplan.

I'm really worried about board sweeps right now because there are so may of different ones of them.
Because that's what crushes my momentum. So if I can thin/burn through my deck faster than they have answers, awesome! Saw this to scare them into thinking they are tricking me to use them. So then I can if possible have an ace in the hole to have Neutralize as a shwarmy " Opt " or " Counterspell ". Sweeps die spells are on a curve I haven't seen since Innistrad.
And wow, why Bas over Tef or Jas? He can't protect himself until like turn 6-7
Today, after I made this deck over almost four hours (based off of a couple concepts I had before Kaldheim) I wanted it to kinda be like the current White Weenie deck that is floating around.
Then I realized this is one of the best zoo concept decks for awhile now. When zoo was most prominent... Blue wasn't involved or effective against it.
So, now that I've revised it. I look at your suggestions. (Which are always awesome, you have such a masterful mind when it comes to this game) no smoke blowing you are great.
Just play this form of my deck in area a for three days.
I know you'll be playing net Deckers I don't care.
Yes, my deck might be shhh, let's not talk about it. Though, try a couple games. See how that works. Then use my Sideboard as your best in three. No deck I ever create is based on best in one! It's based on two of three.
(Side note about side biard: it's about dealing with what you might have to deal with later) beyond that the Sideboard might fully or partially become part of your Mainboard. This happens for multiple reasons. 1: you need to deal with a random new existing system that predominantly dominates the current system.
Ultimately things like Omnath, Locus of Creation I also know rescritions and banning will come to Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider.

Basri's Lieutenant mainboard will help against that. Then when they wipe your board, you still have a bunch of 2/2s to pump. Unless they use Extinction Event .
Basri over the others because he synergizes with the +1/+1 counter theme and has a decent ultimate that you can use instantly if Vorinclex is already out. Idk who Jas is.
Fortunately, I have the cards for this deck, so I will play it a bit later today and see how it goes. Unfortunately, I don't quite have the wildcards for the sideboard. I'll try and find replacements where I can.
I don't think Vorinclex is busted enough right now to warrant a ban. He's a good card, but right now at least he's not key to any gamebreaking strategy.

Wdym top 8 decks? As in the most popular archetypes? Sultai Control plays him sometimes, but he's more used as a beater than as a broken token doubler. He's not integral to the deck's strategy. He's used in mono-green aggro, possibly where he's most effective, but that's not a T1 deck (I'd rate it T2 or 2.5). Good value card, nothing broken. Kind of like Elder Gargaroth or Baneslayer Angel . I think if the right cards are printed, he could be busted, but that depends on how well R&D does over the next year or so until he rotates.
I said I'd try the deck out later that day, but then I was busy. I also haven't actually been enjoying playing Magic as much lately. I'll get to it when I feel like it, I guess.

That makes me sad. I
And as to the top eight comment, I was referring to the 14.2% metric where second is RDW only comes in at 10.28% and Naya Adventures comes in at 8.27% (TA, DR, GR, JC, WW...) etc... of all decks played in the last two months.
Here is kind of my philosophy of playing Aggro:

I'm not really sure what the counterspell package is doing in here, or the card draw ( Omen of the Sea is just better, and most of the time your games won't go long enough that the extra cards will do much and Lorescale Coatl doesn't need the extras with the spells giving +1/+1 counters as well), or the ramp. You're kind of an aggro deck, so you don't want to be holding up countermagic or ramping most of the time. It feels like there's a lot of synergy wasted by having these things in.
More Vorinclex is a good option if you have the wildcards, Basri's Lieutenant is really good as well. The Ozolith is a good option against removal, Luminarch Aspirant is a really good card and fits here too, The Great Henge same thing. If you want to go all-in on Vorinclex, maybe some Planeswalkers like Basri Ket are a good idea.
