I am currently assembling a set of Pauper decks for a loved one to teach her how to play magic. The first of the two decks is Pauper Heroes, a deck focused on fielding one or two threats and pumping them up to overwhelm the enemy in combat.

In Theros, Beyond Death, the deck got new support in the form of Karametra's Blessing, an instant granting an enchanted creature +2/+2, hex proof and indestructible for just one white mana.
