Sideboard

This is my Modern Horizons 3 prerelease deck, which landed me two wins and a draw. There's a lot of neat stuff in this set, so it was pretty hard to decide which direction to take this. White seemed deepest in my pool, and my green had the best synergy with it, so I focused on those. I did splash a bit of black for Chthonian Nightmare (which was hard to pass up) and Wither and Bloom (since I needed more removal), which wasn't too hard to do with the Landscapes. I could maybe have fit some blue for Nadu, Winged Wisdom and/or Genku, Future Shaper, but I didn't want to overextend, and I did pretty well without them.

Standouts were Nyxborn Hydra (hard to deal with since it turns back into a creature once its enchantee is destroyed) and Envoy of the Ancestors (very easy to stabilize with multiple strong modified creatures gaining me life). I never hardcast Warped Tusker and could probably have put something else in that slot. I did ramp up decently a few times, but mostly used that mana on hydras or, once, Decree of Justice for two angels that won me a game.

I came into the prerelease mostly thinking about Eldrazi and energy, but the modified theme here was surprisingly strong. I don't draft a ton so I don't know how much more I'll play this set, but I would like to try out some other combinations if I have a chance.
