Round One: Boros Aggro
I get stuck on two lands game one, but it's playable. I go all-in with Lotleth Troll, discarding enough critters to make him a 6/5. My opponent plays Boros Reckoner, but it's no use as Lotleth Troll tramples right over. Game two sees three Boros Reckoner come down, and I can't play around them with a Diregraf Ghoul and two Gravecrawlers. Game three I curve out and nuke every creature he plays with removal spells, winning 2-1.
Round Two: Selesnya Tokens
I have to mulligan down to six game one and I'm off tempo with two Woodland Cemetery and an Isolated Chapel. He transforms a Mayor of Avabruk after I fail to play anything on turn two. The wolf tokens then win the game for him. Game two I curve out. Game three is long and drawn out after I play Vault of the Archangel. He has something like fifteen creatures on the board, but I have a huge Lotleth Troll and Knight of Infamy with Sorin, Lord of Innistrad. He eventually draws Garuk Relentless and finally has enough tokens to offset my Vault of the Archangel. I lose the round 1-2.
Round Three: Jund Aggro
This player was pretty new to the game and had an 88 card deck. I won 2-0.
Round Four: Selesnya Tokens
I killed all of his mana dorks game one so he was stuck on two lands. Game two he had a bunch of Arbor Elfs, but only Selesnya Guildgates and Sunpetal Groves, meaning he couldn't ramp. I had a slow start as well, but eventually I break through with Lotleth Troll, winning 2-0.
Round Five: Gruul Blitz
My opponent had to mulligan to five game one and got stuck on one mana. By the time she got a second land, she could only play Burning-Tree Emissary, but no other two drops to follow it up. Game two she slaps on a Madcap Skills to a Flinthoof Boar, then bloodrushes Ghor-Clan Rampager to it while I have only a Diregraf Ghoul and an unpumped Lotleth Troll. I respond by casting Abrupt Decay, avoiding the ten damage and losing my creatures. Unable to recover, I just beat down with my zombies for the round, winning 2-0.
