When I started to play kitchentable magic (the best format of all), first we only played with my friend's decks. At one point we decided to brew new decks. I came up with this, so it's the very first deck I ever made.

It was a flavor pick. I'm a horror movie fan, so I wanted a deck with the Horror creature type and Sultai is a great color combination for that. It's not a Kindred deck, just has many Horrors. The idea is to play creatures that care about the graveyard, while filling it with useful stuff to slowly overwhelm my opponent with creatures with all kinds of evasion.

This deck was absent from my life for a time. When we split up the decks and cards we owned together, it fell apart. Some of the cards from it I put into my first commander deck and others into my Demons & Ogres kitchentable deck.

Years later I got the chance to play kitchentable on an online platform, so I decided to put the deck together again there. So this is my only kitchentable deck that I don't have on paper. The point of online irl-kitchentable magic is to use the same cards you own on paper for the same feeling of the game. This is the only exception I made from this because I really like this deck, I'm nostalgic about it and it's still a casual homebrew list. I still own the cards in it, just not a playset of all of them. Nice to be able to play it again.
