Mortlocke - I did not respond to your card suggestions in my initial response but have more time now to do so. You are correct that a 7/6 is not always the biggest threat out on the field but that is the beauty of most commander games, there are three opponents and I only need to hit one of them to trigger Gishath and rain down those beautiful dinos! So generally I have found at least in my play circles that extra evasion is not as helpful/needed as doubling down on Gishath with cards like The Skullspore Nexus, Goring Ceratops, Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion, etc. But I do agree the cards you suggested are clutch and I do run those often in decks. I just omitted them from this deck based on my experience piloting the deck. I do have Roaming Throne in the decklist, it is under the "support creatures" as it tehcnically is not a dinosaur until it enters the field so Gishath can not cheat it out. However, that double triggered abilities effect is wicked good! I could also add in Three Tree City as I have a few copies of that now since the last time I played this deck...between new cards and new cards to my inventory, the fun never ends on the small tweaks to the deck as you are likely very aware!

Hey enrico81,

I do like the concept of Pantlaza, Sun-Favored as it is a similar effect to Gishath to cheat creatures out. I just find the effect underwhelming for a 5 CMC. If the deck is working correctly, once I get Gishath out, I am not usually casting dinosaurs from my hand and cards like Strionic Resonator and The Skullspore Nexus easily double Githath's ability to rain dinosaurs at at much cheaper CMC with the extra protection of being artifacts/enchantments.That has been my main reason for not adding Pantlaza, Sun-Favored into the deck. Good card, just did not make the cut for my personal take on a dino tribal.

Real fun combo I've run into with my Gishath deck is to be able to cheat out Earthshaker Dreadmaw and Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant in the same turn. Draw a card for each dino you control, then drop Ghalta to put all creature cards from your hand onto the battlefield.

Couple goodies you may like:

Berserkers' Onslaught is a redundant way to give double strike that's usually harder to remove than Goring Ceratops, though I personally run both.

The Skullspore Nexus lets you double a creature's power in a deck that wants to turn creatures sideways. May as well, right? Could also do Xenagos, God of Revels for the same reason as Nexus.

Of note, I haven't play the Souls of the Lost with Ob Nixilis, the Adversary. You can literally have a turn 3 15 point swing... and if you can get an attack in first, GG.

You can also aim for alt-wins. Altar of Dementia. And with The Skullspore Nexus you can sac a goyf to Altar, you or opp mill 10. Get a 10/10 dino fungus and mill for another 10. You can play for your own self-mill win with Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac.

There is a lot of gy hate and I always play with one or the other side for alt-win.

I'm also considering maindeck Leyline of the Void because so much of magic these days are graveyard based.
