Nice deck ! I always wanted to try building a Sygg deck too :) First of all, seeing your curve and the draw you have on Sygg you should try 37or 38 lands. Have you try some burn 3 black spells ? That's the build I have in mind for a long time. I'm sure cards like Loyal Subordinate (especially him) or even Sovereign's Bite, Gonti's Machinations, Shrieking Affliction or Prying Questions could be questionably good (and budget :p).

Are you really sure, that a 5 mana removal/tutor for a pretty bad planeswalker is something, you'd play in modern? You still have to play and pay the planeswalker...
concept of deck: madness/burn. So what is Gifted Aetherborn, Hand of Silumgar, Rush of Vitality, Vampire Cutthroat, Lost Legacy, and Prying Questions doing in the deck?
don't you think Fiery Temper is a better than Alchemist's Greeting? I think so.
How about some nice symmetrical discard, like Necrogen Mists? That would go well with this deck.

so the thing is that your paying life it's not damage so you would just end up killing your self. since losing life is not the same thing as taking damage. The best way I can explain is take Fog for example. let's say you Lightning Bolt someone and they fog cause they are only at 2 life. well that prevents all damage this turn but not life loss so you could cast Prying Questions and it would make them lose life the same works for this combo

I do not think that version of Chandra is very strong since she costs so much.
Going red/black gives you some fun cards like Alms of the Vein and Prying Questions

chubacca Thanks! I don't seem to have much trouble with the land. It is more of getting the Tree or Frog. I have considered using the Alms of the Vein or Prying Questions to finish them off. What would you recommend replacing with the Alms?
