Thanks for the suggestions! I do own a Splinter Twin. Looking to add Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink and Mirage Phalanx now. Rionya, Fire Dancer, Delina, Wild Mage, Flamerush Rider, and Blade of Selves are also some solid options for this effect.

They work especially well as a surprise token copy ETB with haste enablers like Xenagos, God of Revels, and Rhythm of the Wild.

Play-tested this a few times. It's really quite amazing, Etali consistently appeared on or before turn 5, so well done on that. What I'm missing are cards that allow you to easily copy him, which will allow you to benefit more from his insane ETB-ability. I was thinking cards like Mirage Phalanx, Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink or Splinter Twin.

Squee, Goblin Nabob seems like a must have in this deck. If you're going to play Thrill of Possibility, faithless looting seems more consistent and efficient.

If you like the discarding aspect, Sabin, Master Monk seems pretty decent here. If you don't want to go the discard route, I suggest Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink.

I also highly recommend Bogardan Hellkite.

Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink could be really fun in this deck. He can be both a source of token creatures that your other nontoken creatures are able to copy and a potential wincon, depending on what else is in the deck. If you've got something with a good death/etb trigger like Ryusei, the Falling Star or Terror of the Peaks, that could quickly add up to a lot of damage.
