while i think Nim Shrieker is super cute and you should keep running it if you really like it, i think running more copies of Kenku Artificer as a way to close out games is likely a bit more resilient

Affinity and what to cut

Maybe you can try Experimental Synthesizer. Gives you some draw until end of turn, and you can sac it with whatever, and the effect triggers again. I also like Etched Champion quite a lot, as it is quite difficult to remove and is both amazing blocking and attacking. A substitute to Cranial Plating could be Nettlecyst, or you can even run both. Something like Skilled Animator, Kenku Artificer or Ensoul Artifact can also be very fun, especially if used on an Ornithopter or any indestructible land such as Silverbluff Bridge or Darksteel Citadel. Another affinity card I have a sweetspot for is Broodstar, but it needs colored mana, so it is not as easy to cast as a Myr Enforcer.

Pauper Lands

A potential win condition to consider: The artifact dual lands Darkmoss Bridge, Tanglepool Bridge and Mistvault Bridge with Kenku Artificer become flyers that are difficult to remove. This is used currently in Jeskai Ephemerate decks.

True, but I looked up Gatherer for Kenku Artificer, and found no rulings mentioned at all, which is why I tried to supply additional evidence that they indeed work the same way ;)

If you look up the Baldur's Gate release notes and find the entry for Kenku Artificer, it is mentioned that "The artifact retains any types, subtypes, or supertypes it has."
The "it's still a land"-part is only needed when the ability has to target a land, and adds a type to it (usually makes it a creature). Kenku Artificer's ability can target a Darksteel Relic, so any "it's still a land"-clause would confuse more than it helps in that case. Which is why they don't mention it on the card, I presume.

I dont think it loses its land type. If you target Ancient Den with Kenku Artificer's ability turning it into a creature. This effect doesn't remove its land type. Or is there something I'm missing
