Karstoderm

Creature — Beast

Karstoderm enters the battlefield with five +1/+1 counters on it.

Whenever an artifact enters the battlefield, remove a +1/+1 counter from Karstoderm.

Here are some spells / creatures that put 5 counters on Increasing Savagery, Vigean Hydropon, Karstoderm

These add four at a time Scute Mob, Quest for the Gemblades, Verdurous Gearhulk, Blessings of Nature <-- with sages heroic its enough to take a turn immediately for potentially 1 green mana!!!

Love me some nice mono-green, here's some things that you may enjoy: Predator Ooze seems way too good, and I'd probably drop the Karstoderm who gets messed up hard in many specific match ups. 2 of Bioshift In either the side or main board really helps salvage your board against removal strats. Prey Upon is excellent removal if your creatures get big enough for it, amazing with the Ooze also. I don't know what you'd want to cut, but Forced Adaptation accelerates your game hard. Also as others have mentioned Llanowar Reborn and Oran-Rief, the Vastwood are excellent additions to your land base. I would't worry about it slowing down your game too much either as most of your strength is in your 3-4 drops and the counters you accumulate over time, so they make for a great turn 1 land drop.

Solidarity of Heroes is great for making your creatures bigger, helping you stay fueled. As far as bigger spells, Karstoderm has great value, especially with a Hardened Scales out. Same deal with Reverent Hunter. Maybe consider taking out Renegade Krasis, since you don't really have much to trigger his evolve ability. Bond Beetle helps you pile counters onto a single creature more efficiently than Servant of the Scale, so you should consider replacing him.

Hexcimal, thanks for the suggestions. Tuskguard Captain might be a little too slow, but I'll test him out. Llanowar Reborn is going in there as soon as I can get my hands on a few.Karstoderm actually works pretty consistently. By the time I get him out there, my opponents have usually already played whatever artifacts they have, and with Hardened Scales out, he's a 6/6 for 4 cost.

Thought I'd hop on over here and see what else you've got cooking up. I love decks with +1/+1 counters and I love that you're going for mono-green as opposed to Abzan or the ever-popular G/W (though I have my own version of that called Predation Pack (Casual Counters) if you want to check it out for suggestions lol).

Reverent Hunter works perfectly here more so than multicolored decks and I believe he fits nicely. There are several creatures that have trample already so this might not be as relevant, but Tuskguard Captain is always a fun choice. Llanowar Reborn might seem to slow down a deck, but their graft ability is phenomenal. How does Karstoderm fair in the deck? I've always been wary of using him, though it could just be that my friends use too many goddamned artifacts.
