Circle of Protection: Blue

Enchantment

: The next time a blue source of your choice would deal damage to you this turn, prevent that damage.

Scallywallwest - the wincon is Azor's Elocutors, and you achive hitting that through the Circle of Protections, but you could use Teferi, Master of Time, but he does get killed easily.

VampDemigod - Circle of Protection: Blue doesn't stop the game loss from Pact of Negation, as the Circle of Protection: Blue only prevents damage, whereas Pact of Negation kills you outside of damage. (Trust me, I am learning to become a judge!) The Pact of Negations are there as either Goblin Grenades to jump on, or counterspells to save an Azors elecutors.

I'm trying to take note of all of what you superiors stated, but overnight heated debates can be too much on me. My apologies for such a notion...

BTW, anyone who still cares, how good would be with stuff like Blue Ward, Blue Scarab, Circle of Protection: Blue, & Rune of Protection: Blue for enemy players for instance? Not much? Also, any suggestions for stuff that are good for , & , but nothing else in other colors without needing to sac my stuff? Also wonder how good Jaya Ballard, Task Mage is...

DuTogira on Pili-Pala and Grand Architect Infinite …

As many of you may know, my biggest project on tappedout has been making a competitive modern Grand Architect + Pili-Pala deck. In my search for cards to make the lists as competitive as possible though, I have run across a couple of other interesting interactions that these two creatures can abuse, so I figured I would go ahead and share them here.
Note about this thread: This is not a list of win-cons which are good when combined with infinite mana. This is a list of ways that either Grand Architect or Pili-Pala can create an infinite combo without the other.

Pili-Pala + Training Grounds + Viridian Longbow = infinite damage
Grand Architect + Training Grounds + Umbral Mantle = infinite colorless mana and a ridiculously large creature. this combo will not work if a non-artifact creature is equipped with the mantle
Grand Architect + Staff of Domination + Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas OR Ensoul Artifact = infinite colorless mana, infinite life, infinite card draw, and infinite tap stuff
Grand Architect + Painter's Servant = just add some myr/scarecrows or something and you can cast your whole hand on turn 3. As a bonus, you could also run Circle of Protection: Blue in that kind of deck for funzies.

Just figured I would throw this list out there... because I don't think anyone else is going to stumble on as many ways to break GA and Pili as I will. I will keep the list updated as I find more stuff.
