Looking for a new deck: RG Ponza or UR Prowess?

So I absolutely love UG Infect, but it's in such a poor spot in the meta right now that I'm thinking of picking up a new "funzies" deck. I think either RG Ponza or UR Prowess would suit my playstyle and budget (since I already have a bunch of the pieces for both). But I'm having a hard time choosing.
Thoughts?
RG Ponza is way better. Prowess can't really beat a lot of decks, but turn 2 Blood Moon can be a win on its own. Definitely worth it.

I've been playing with a Gruul Ponza list. It can suffer from some bad hands and you may have to mulligan often, but when it works, the opponent just doesn't play Magic. It's a freaking blast (pun intended...)!

aeonstoremyliver haha that's exactly how it feels... sometimes it feels like a draft deck, but other times it feels like the best deck ever. Nothing like having Blood Moon + Choke against a control player haha.

Perhaps a UR Delver list? I'm not sure how far off budget that would be for you. Otherwise I would also have to vote for RG Ponza. Especially if your meta is super greedy then it can be a great call! Good luck!

Maybe u could play blue moon - it's somewhat a combination of both. Or a blue red delver list but with Stone Rain, Molten Rain, Blood Moon, Mana Leak, and Censor.

UR Delver wouldn't be too bad budget-wise, but I'm not sure about the deck. I think it's maybe just that Grixis Delver seems so much more powerful, and I'm not a fan of that deck at all. Thanks though!

Thanks for the suggestion! For whatever reason, I hadn't even looked at Blue Moon, and it looks really fun. I don't have any Snaps though, so it's out of range for now.

clayperce, check out my Ponza deck + primer if you haven't gotten tired of them yet; mine has some more unique aspects to it that you might want to see.

clayperce- I've run my list at Modern night 3-4 times and am still undefeated with it if you want to take a look (we only get 7-10 players every week fwiw). It's pretty stock except I run bolts in the main instead of Bonfires, but that can be changed depending on what's better in your meta.

Another thing to note is that RG Ponza is also at an all-time low in terms of price right now because of Moon. I know you've seen my list+primer, so I won't bother posting it.
THE_WTF_Brewer blue moon is terrible in the current meta, as its main form of removal is bolt.

Thanks much for posting your deck! Platinum Emperion + Madcap Experiment looks amazing. I'd seen the combo on Gordon Clinard's list, but didn't really 'get' it. Appreciate your primer! And though the paper copies of Emperion aren't doable for me now, I may try it on MTGO. Looks GREAT against the go-wide decks.

So I took the plunge with RG Ponza. I bought in on MTGO and it's absolutely awesome. I'm getting a trade list ready for this weekend too ... in ~2 weeks, I expect to be saying 'Stone Rain, targeting your ..." at Thursday Modern. I'll let y'all know how it goes!

Prowess is basically a worse version of Infect in the current metagame. Go for Ponza.
