I'm so happy I'm the first one to comment in this forum (as of when I write this).
Let's discuss our favorite things about Limited in this thread.
Favourite thing about limited - Winning the first FNM draft I played.
Then there is opening about $100 worth of cards at two pre-releases.

Taking all the rares off the fools that pass them, then conceding with my $20 repaid.

Don't think I can pick any one aspect. Cracking packs, getting a feel for the new format, building with limited resources, discussing interesting card interactions with other players, and the matches. I can't hate on a little value drafting, when there are no alternatives that will significantly strengthen your deck.

Limited is by far my favorite. It's a whole different sort of skill. In my opinion it's harder to be a strong limited player than a strong constructed player, but it's easier to be competent at limited than constructed.

I love cracking packs open. It's the little boy in me always wanting that money rare that he was never able to get as a Yu-Gi-Oh! player...
Other than that, Limited is the only format where I can try something new every time I play. I pay the same amount for each deck, and I don't have to spend hundreds on a new constructed deck just to get a feel for the colors.

I suck at limited formats, the last one i attended was a sealed tourney.
Got two Mutavault s, how freaking useless is that for a competition, they do NOTHING, but there we go, still went home happy, and last place.

best part about limited is the limited card pool. i suck at sealed and im decent drafter but its fun playing with cards that would otherwise never see table play

I like the challenge that Limited presents; building a deck out of cards you've just got in a restricted amount of time. I also like that you really have to think about whether or not a card that is bad in Constructed is good in Limited and vice versa. The deckbuilding is great fun too.
Of course, the best feeling is pulling a money rare and then being able to use it in a deck as soon as you get it.

running a "bad" color for the format and then annihilating people, i have this weird ability where i can make really bad or weird decks and navigate them in such a way that they can completely kill a normal deck. it's really fun, especially with a cheap modern deck.

Damn, took my first Theros draft loss last night to go 3-1. Pulled a Thoughtseize and Xenagos out of my 4 packs though.

I did make a deck last friday that was izzet control but i splashed black for minotaurs and even though I only had 5 minotaurs in my deck I smashed my opponents only losing to a Stormbreath Dragon .

I really enjoy themed decks. Time Spiral does not make a themed deck.

The ability to micro other people's macro with ridiculous plays against bomb cards.

I played a sealed private event last night, and got a Xenagos for my Gruul aggro deck, going 5-0, with two matches to go. Unfortunately it was getting really late and people were ready to leave so I never got to play the last two matches, but it was still very fun. I think I would have gone 6-1 or 7-0, judging by how the last decks had performed. I also pulled a Purphorous from 3 other packs I bought.
One of my friends pulled a Thoughtseize , a Master of Waves , and an Elspeth, Sun's Champion . That crack-luck...

my favorite part about limited is giving all the unused commons and uncommons a chance to shine where constructed wouldn't, nothing like the horror of an Insatiable Harpy to ruin someones day.
I also love snatching amazing bombs when I'm not running the colors so I don't have to deal with them in someone elses hands, I even splashed red last minute so I could use a Purphoros, God of the Forge .

My superpower is thinking the opposite of how my decks will perform. For example, one of my first limited events ever (M13 prerelease) I didn't get much good, but I knew I liked GW, so I built that despite having NO Green or White rares. I missed the synergy with my 2x Roaring Primadox , 2x Elvish Visionary , 2x Bond Beetle , and some other ETB's. I stomped, despite expecting to lose.
I also had bad luck pulling Theros and was forced to run 3 color with no correction in limited (I hate 3 color). 3x Battlewise Hoplite and 4x Chosen by Heliod with red for Magma Jet and other buffs is NO JOKE.

@DrFunk27: Was that really fucking necessary you derpshit? Like you life just couldn't be complete until you bump'd a thread from a year ago? Do you feel at peace? Did the simple activity of typing five letters and pressing enter excite your penis and seven smaller brain?

Actually sylvannos watching you get incessantly angry over a meaningless comment is quite enjoyable. Thanks for making me laugh today. :D
