Love Letter to Shape Anew

Hello everyone. This is my first post, so I'll introduce myself (don't worry I'll keep it short). I have a lot of fun building budget decks, the biggest appeal is the underdog aspect. Who wouldn't love to build a budget deck that could topple one with four Koths, Jaces, or what have you? The other appeal is if I make that $30 deck as good as one with $200+ worth of cards, that's real money value that I've made with my effort, along with the pure fun of deck construction.
So, as I was perusing the Scars of Mirrodin visual spoilers, there was one card that I instantly fell in love with. The resemblance to Tinker , my first MTG crush, is inescapable. I had to build a deck around it, and U/W control fit really well. That card is Shape Anew .

This card has a love/hate relationship with artifacts. If there are too many artifacts in the deck, who knows what the first one I'll reveal? With just two sets of artifacts (one cheap and one expensive), it becomes a lot less chaotic to get the artifact i'm fishing for. I settled upon Ornithopter as shaping material for Steel Hellkite .
Next I dropped in a set of tinker-mage. The 2/2 is nice, but more important is the ability to tutor those rogue thopters out of your deck and into play (since they cost 0). This provides more fodder to shape, while decreasing the odds of running into another thopter, SIMULTANEOUSLY. Plus, a deck with two references to Tinker ? Brb soiled pants.
Now that I have this sweet little four card combo set up, I switched lanes into control cards. Mana Leak , Negate , and Disperse are easy main board choices, but i floundered upon what white removal to include. Day of Judgment is counterintuitive, because I only have 4 thopters to work with. I settled after much deliberation upon Journey to Nowhere and Condemn .
Preordain was the next to get the green light. Card advantage is a welcome addition, and the scry is a free peek to see if a hellkite is up soon.
Finally for lands I put 12 island, 4 plains, and 4 Terramorphic Expanse , the latter which is to allow me to get at those plains in a pinch. For sideboard, Celestial Purge , Flashfreeze , Revoke Existence , and Silence . I'm convinced that last one will be useful in a mirror match.

I have 2 IoK for trade. 1 from event deck and 1 from Rise of the Eldrazi. Looking for my binder wants mainly but any reasonable offer will be considered.
