My favorite flavor text of all time is Sedge Scorpion "Thakolides the Mighty, Slayer of minotaurs, Vanquisher of giants, Killed by a scorpion, ---Inscription on an Akroan grave". Best Flavor Text Ever.

Oh, Lawnmower Elves . . I think that was the first card I saw whose flavor text really got me into the flavor part of Magic. Really gets you in the mood for a fight!
