EDH: The latest in my conversion decks.

Deck Help forum

So far I've converted Modern/legacy Elfball and Modern/legacy Goblins into successful EDH decks. (Rollover Minutes and Krenko's Commandos respectively.)

Keeping with that trend I decided to try and get a Melira, Sylvok Outcast , Birthing Pod deck to translate and I feel that I have been fairly successful. (It also resembles Nic Fit Legacy.)

However, I have a few things that I need help with: I need a slot for Dimir House Guard and I need a way to keep people out of my graveyard and was wondering what people would use to that effect, (By keeping someout of my grave I'm referring to denying Deathrite Shaman and Scavenging Ooze effects.)

Help, suggestions, and if you are so inclined, +1s are all appreciated.

To keep people from targeting the graveyard? Ground Seal stops all targeting in graveyard.

I don't want to prevent ME from targeting. Lets put this differently: I want to give my graveyard Hexproof not Shroud.

I know Rest in Peace is going to be a problem (No one runs that MB yet in my playgroup but it's only a matter of time) but I'm worried about targeted grave removal.

I don't know anything besides Ground Seal and Underworld Cerberus . I even looked at gatherer but got nothing.

Same here. It's hard, the reason I need hexproof and not shroud is I have a lot of Karmic Guide effects.

You could run things like Sadistic Sacrament to take out the graveyard hate before they get to it.

There's really no protection from graveyard removal effects. Cards like Bojuka Bog , Tormod's Crypt , and Relic of Progenitus are just too easily sided into decks to deal with graveyard based strategies. You're consigned to the fact that those are just cards that you'll have to play around if you start to see them in your meta.
