Added Viscera Seer, Took out Pulse Tracker. —March 29, 2013

So, as my description states I added Viscera Seer and took out Pulse Tracker because although Pulse Tracker gets an addition point of damage through when it attacks I like the versatility of Viscera Seer. With Viscera Seer there is a lot of cool combos I can do. Anything with Blade of the Bloodchief on it with a Viscera Seer on the field can get deadly very quickly.. It can get especially dangerous with a Blood Artist and a Bloodghast on the field. It also opens up for a bit of card advantage with the ability to Scry. So far it has proven to be an improvement on the deck.

Try it out and tell me what you think!

This deck is hella fatty good.

Very nice deck! I love tribal vampires, and this is definitely one of the better ones out there in my opinion. Just a few suggestions, maybe consider Captivating Vampire, Kalastria Highborn, Bloodline Keeper  Flip? I highly recommend Stromkirk Captain as well.

Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it! I've tried out and tested just about every vampire in the book for this deck and most of those just don't quite seem to fit the build, I may however try them out again since I have made some changes over time. Thanks for the input!

Ahh, ok. Well you would certainly know more about this deck than I would.

Ha, I have been playing it for a while and over awhile I just ruled out what things that don't have enough synergy to make the cut, I think I may pop in a couple of Stromkirk Captains again to see how they work out for me. Thanks again. :)

Oh ok. Hope it works out! Just out of curiosity, do you want to test out this vs. my Swarm and Conquer deck via Lackey? I'm trying to get a feel of how well Swarm will do against other good Modern decks.

Viscera Seer ? for the blade?

also maybe Burst Lightning instead of Incinerate ? i like the kicker for late game boom.

March 27, 2013 6:27 p.m.

Ooh, I really like the Viscera Seer especially in unison with Bloodghast and Blood Artist I can't believe I overlooked that, thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely use that! And I'm not sure about the Burst Lightning as opposed Incinerate I do like the late game idea though. I will try it out, but most of the time I'm equipping and doing things of that nature, so I don't think it would fit my deck build, but for the Viscera Seer I will definitely work him in, thank you :)

Other than that, how do you like the deck?

March 27, 2013 6:35 p.m.

it's very similar to mine although i use Duress , Burst Lightning and i don't have any new vamp cards so i have nothing from the Innistrad or Ravnica block.

I want to add Blood Artist s.

B/R vamps rule though.

It gives me food for thought.

Awesome, I gatta give love to a fellow B/R Vampire player, interesting how you don't have red Innistrad vamps though, I think there are some really amazing B/R and Red vampires out there from those sets. If you want to link your vampire deck I'd be more than happy to look at it though. :D

hmm. let me see if i still have it up on T/O. i don't think i have updated it.

i still Anowon, the Ruin Sage . sometimes it is like i never left zendikar.

March 27, 2013 6:54 p.m.

Just by the sound of it Blood Artist should be in that deck, lol. Anowon, the Ruin Sage and a couple of Blood Artist s on the field.. brutal.

anyway. that build is out of date, because i have also been playing with mainboard Anowon, duress, and 2x Bituminous Blast , because killing a creature and getting a creature in return is badass.

Still it looks very solid! Also, gatta love that hand disruption. :)
