Not to nitpick, but if you have 2 Voices in your deck, you don't need 3 in the Maybeboard. Regardless, a +1 from me. Fantastic deck.

I see you have drifted to more aggro like my deck. Hope its working out for you. I cant really think of anything to improve my deck and I feel like its perfect. I am debating trying out Ajani, Caller of the Pride but im not sure if hes worth it. Has he been woth having over other 1 or 2 drops? I run 4 Soldier of the Pantheon

@ GarrettO23 Yeah the double strike and flying wins games straight up. Alot more effective than Soldier of the Pantheon in my opinion. Give it a shot, Ajani, Caller of the Pride is a force to be reckoned with. And yeah I was aggro to start and was trying Archangel of Thune out. The end result was that I was banking on her too much therefore not getting the most out of my other cards.

I agree with the worry of not being fast enough. I try to have a few 4 cmc at the top of my curve. Def dont want a 5 drop in my deck. Have you still been doing well at fnm? Im having trouble with my side board, not sure what to side in and out against aggro and control. I think my deck is well positioned to take a game one against anyone I just am having more trouble deciding what to side in and out. U mind taking a look when you get a chance and letting me know what u might side in against esper and against mono blue?

@ GarrettO23

So far after taking 1st with a 5-0 record, I have just done some kitchen table magic with friends who play mono-black, boros, U/G, and also Orzhov and so far it has a near flawless record. And the game I did lose was against Obzedat, Ghost Council he also had Whip of Erebos out and I was stuck on 3 lands. All plains... lol so it was a fluke overall.

As far as siding in for esper and mono-blue, consider Mistcutter Hydra pro blue. Good against mono-blue and esper. As well as Glare of Heresy it removes espers main win-con Elspeth, Sun's Champion as well as other things you wouldn't like in a mirror such as Voice of Resurgence . Also a quick note, if I am against a control deck, I side in the other 2x Boon Satyr for flashing in after a Supreme Verdict just to keep some pressure on the board, it also goes well with a Fleecemane Lion who got to use monstrosity bringing it to an 8/6 indestructible hexproof. add Unflinching Courage on top of that and your looking at 10 damage every turn and gaining 10 life.

Last tip I have is if you are having trouble against esper only play 2-3 threats at a time, don't let them wait until you unload your hand to cast a Verdict on you. Just peck them for 2 damage here 5 damage there. Eventually they will have to blow Verdict on 2 creatures since they typically won't have any board presence for most of the game. Against mono-blue, just use Pithing Needle and name Master of Waves which makes the deck ruined. Completely. Or toss in Ratchet Bomb if we are talking about the mono-blue aggro type decks that do run Master of Waves as the win-con. Other than that be careful casting spells and keep close eye on their open mana.

Yeah thanks for the help. My main meta where im at is Control. Id say 50% of the people I play run Esper or U/W.

Yup, same here. Luckily we can abuse Rootborn Defenses you could consider that in the sideboard as well, a playset of them against that matchup wouldn't exactly be bad, then you can go full on aggressive if you have one in hand.

My meta is 70% Esper or U/W the other 30% are mono-red or G/R

I may try land destruction next go around just to test the waters with it. Check it out its called Got land? it would do amazing against Esper and U/W not sure about heavy mono-red or G/R though

Pithing Needle only stops activated abilities, and therefore has zero interaction with Master of Waves . Ratchet Bomb is your best bet against him.

Derp! Yeah my bad, but yes Ratchet Bomb is key to mono-blue
