Infinitely Faster! —Feb. 21, 2014

Decided to remove my Palladium Myr and Myr Galvanizer infinite combo in favor of Grand Architect and Pili-Pala. The Myr combo required two Myr Galvanizer, which slowed things down. This way, I can have both pieces on the board by turn 3.

@ emask I'll give Halimar Depths a try in some playtest runs to see if it will help. Thanks for commenting and upvoting! :D

Thoughtcast is awesome, also if you want to splash white, which wouldnt be too hard for you with Glimmervoid there already, Dispatch , Sen Triplets and a load of baddass sphinxes. Looks like great fun to play +1

@ josh14 Thoughtcast and Dispatch are totally things I would love to include, I had thoughts of putting Thoughtcast into the initial build. I don't know if I'd use it in place of Think Twice or try to keep both. Thanks for stopping by! :)

While I think that this infinite mana combo is good, I use it in my Myr tribal deck, I would suggest one of two actions. 1 - Myr Matrix as an alt win-con giving you infinite tokens to feed the mana into. 2 - Is the other viable infinite mana combo in Modern using Pili-Pala and Grand Architect as turn three infinite mana. I prefer this method honestly because it is easy to tutor up the components with Transmute. As a side if you don't like that version of infinite mana I would suggest looking at some transmute cards to put what you need in your hand when you need it, specifically you can easily transmute for Time Sieve or either myr you need for infinite mana. Drift of Phantasms specifically. I think a Myr Matrix or two could be amazing in this deck providing infinite 4/4 myr tokens!

@ -MisterJ- Your Pili-Pala /Grand Architect suggestion is something I'll have to seriously consider. Though I don't think it has quite the same flavor appropriateness that the Myr have with this deck, I don't like the fact that my current combo requires 2 Myr Galvanizer . I like Myr Matrix too, but I don't know if it would just end up as an additional piece that wouldn't be strictly necessary. Thanks for sharing your ideas, I appreciate it! :)

You're welcome! If you have interest in seeing how a completed Pili-Pala deck looks I have my current Modern competitive deck listed, And I just got my Spellskite I needed to side in against control burn. Also I have a semi competitive Myr deck I built for Myr infect and infinite Myr late game that just turned out slower than I wanted.

It Wasn't Really Expected To Infinite Combo is my Pili Pala deck

Metal Kombat For The Mortal Man is my Myr tribal deck.
