I have always liked Stuffy Doll for its flavor. The fact that it deals one damage to itself is what I like the most. Because of that, I decided to make a deck built around it.
The main objective of the deck is to get out a Stuffy Doll early as possible and then equip it with either Pariah or
Guilty Conscience
. With Pariah on it, it pretty much stalls the game out until I can do something else, and with its main goal,
Guilty Conscience
on it, it taps for infinite damage.
The first thing the deck has to do to achieve this goal is to get the doll out there. This is aided by
Rite of Flame
, Simian Spirit Guide, and Seething Song. With those three I can normally get him out on turn 2 or 3. If I don't have him in my hand, i can use Enlightened Tutor to conjure him up.
The next part of the process is enchanting him. I will normally have either Pariah or
Guilty Conscience
in my hand at this point, but if I don't, I can also use Enlightened Tutor to get them on top of my deck.
Right now I'm thinking of adding blue into the deck. I like the IDEA of it in the deck, because it gives protection to my doll against things like Scar,
Virulent Wound
, or, you know, ANY infect. My only concern is that it is screwing with my mana base too much. Any feedback on that would be great.
