Alright guys and gals, it's time for another budget deck tech! Todays deck will be Azorius Heroic. Even though heroic decks are pretty common, i have made this one my own. Lets start off with the 1-drops. We have a full playset of Hopeful Eidolon . This card is good for the bestow, and can get pretty ridiculous if bestowed on a big guy, i once won a game against mono-black devotion with 41 health compared to his zero. we also have a playset of Gods Willing. Protects against spot removal, helps swing in for lethal, and triggers heroic. Couldn't ask for much more out of a card. Our last 1 drop is a playset of Ethereal Armor. You run a lot of auras, this card rewards you for doing that by buffing your guys up for, and gives enchanted creature first strike, a good way around death touch. This deck runs 16 2 drops, lets get into them. We start off with a full playset of Hero of Iroas . This guy is a bomb! A 2/2 for 2 mana with heroic is pretty good in itself, but one that reduces the mana cost for your auras? Amazing, no questions asked hands down. The next playset in our 2-drop slot is Meletis Astronomer . A lot of your deck is enchantments, so his heroic is usually good, plus he is a great early game blocker. We have a playset of Ordeal of Thassa . With all the heroic counters in the deck, there should be no problem casting this, swinging in, and then drawing 2 cards. our last card in the 2 drop slot is Stratus Walk . Sure the downside is a bit harsh, but by the time either this or Aqueous Form are truly effective, it doesn't matter as you WILL be swinging in every turn. plus this draws you cards. We have 7 cards in the 4-drop slot. A playset of Eidolon of Countless Battles is a no brainer here. It rewards you for playing like the deck wants you to play. We finish off the 3-drops with a 3 of Fabled Hero . He is just a good heroic target, that's all i have to say about him. And we finish off with 3 4-drops, with all 3 of them being Ephara, God of the Polis. She just draws you cards and is a 5/6 body. It's good stuff.
