cards for the card god, swaps for the swap throne —April 26, 2016

Several tweaks as a result of SOI. This deck has a decent amount of influence from original INN block, so certainly happy to be going back. Not a ton of adjustments at the moment, but I expect there will be a few more before the block ends.

-Sacred Mesa - fantastic as a lategame mana sink, terrible early. This deck doesn't have nearly as much ramp as I'd like, so it's often an awkward draw.

-Day of Judgment - given that this deck is so creature-heavy, I'm actually not sure why I was playing so many wrath effects.

-Planar Cleansing - similar to above, with the addendum of me not enjoying killing my own enchantments. I'll generally have one or two out, and trading them for an opponent's problem card still feels bad.

-Plains, Swamp

+Bloodgift Demon - respectable body, draws cards. No complaints here.

+Mirror Entity - another Overrun effect. I actually like Jazal Goldmane a lot, so having another mass pump in the deck should be useful. Can also serve as a sacrifice outlet/tribal synergy in a pinch.

+Angelic Purge - sac a token, solve a problem. Not the greatest card, but I've been wanting more interaction.

+Eternal Dragon - coming back in. It's pretty slow, and will be cycled immediately 99% of the time, but it can turn on Emeria, the Sky Ruin by itself, and can potentially be a lategame mana sink.

+Westvale Abbey  Flip - mana sink, token generator, occasional threat. Swinging with a huge indestructible lifelinker is pretty fun.
