Shamanism on a Budget

Modern Aggro Budget RG (Gruul) Tribal

psinerd

After a long absence, I've come back to the MTG community - sort of. I'm makimg myself stick to a lower budget while still trying to have a fun deck that gets its job done. The idea of Shaman tribal's been ticking in the back of my head for a while, so why not give it a go?The goal of this deck is dump our hand as quick as possible to win turn four with the help of our buddy Rage Forger . He's pretty much our one and only shaman lord, and he does a damn good job. With help like discount from Bosk Banneret and tutoring from Flamekin Harbinger, we can make it happen. So, without further-a-do, let's get into the cards.- Rage Forger : The most important shaman in the deck. Buffs our guys and gets extra face in. Does his job well. Enough said.- Bosk Banneret: Another key part of the deck. He makes it easier to dump all of our shamans as fast as possible, and getting a bigger impact in on turn 4 all together.- Flamekin Harbinger: Best tutor to find the Forger. With a Banneret and one of these in our opening hand, we can tutor into Rage Forger turn one, plant ourselves a discount turn two, and then cast our Rage Forger and any other shamans turn 3.- Wolf-Skull Shaman : Another essential. 28 of our cards are shamans, and with cards like Temple of Abandon, Flamekin Harbinger, and Lead the Stampede, we can make sure we get the Kinship.- Burning-Tree Emissary: Shaman that pays us back. Helps our goal of dumping our hand, plus a decent mana filter.- Elvish Visionary: Solid green card draw, AND is a shaman.- Fauna Shaman: This is a one-of for two reasons: 1. A bit expensive in paper and 2. A bit too slow compared to Harbinger.- Birds of Paradise: Pretty self evident mana dorks. Could be replaced in the future.- Tattermunge Witch : Here to help with too many blockers. Also a shaman.- Shaman of the Great Hunt: A one-of as its at the top of the curve, and can be a finisher. Haste really saved it for me.- Lightning Bolt: I'm playing red.- Lead the Stampede: Considering the deck's half creatures and we're able to dump our hand, this works great with the deck.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, but keep in mind to keep it budget (no Fulminator Mages).
