The devotion shell was explosive, but it just wasn't getting there most of the time, so I switched it out for the more solid G/r Monsters shell, complete with Ashcloud Phoenix and Stormbreath Dragon, which could actually feasibly get a Purphoros active. The Chord of Calling component was fun, but just too hard to cast if the opponent had any kind of disruption, unfortunately.

farjunojr I was considering Rabblemaster but don't have any and had trouble finding the proper spot for it. I'm not yet sold on full 4 Purphoros, so maybe I should take one out, along with the Reclamation Sage and maybe the second Polukranos for 3. Have you used rabblemaster in a similar build to much success?

DiEaBoLiK I've foregone the Genesis Hydra in favor of Hooded Hydra which feels like it has more synergy to me, it does well with rattleclaw and purphoros and holds up well to control. About the Revelry, I wanted 3 "destroy target enchantment" effects in my side, and then I looked at my list and realized I had no enchantments myself and could use Back to Nature, which is so much better against Constellation themes, however I like the damage on Revelry as well so I split it.

You should add in Karametra's Acolyte, you have the devotion with your hydra, queen, and polukranos and with the low drop greens but those first three are the bacon winners for mana and devotion. It is like having a spare Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx on the field. I use them in my mono green deck and everyone says they are bad and should feel bad but they are underestimated in my opinion. I always say to people keep your deck the same online and swap out some suggested cards from the helpful people who back seat deck build. If you keep your original list here and tryout the cards we suggested ( proxy if you need to) keep them and tinker around with it until its ban worthy, and if its terrible and you have to kill it with fire then you know what to add back in. Take it from someone who modified a great deck into a bad deck and didn't keep track of the changes to switch it back. yeah this was long but its better than a bunch of tiny posts. - SoF ~

have you considered Scourge of Skola Vale? would be a nice backup plan to have a couple of these in case u run into Utter End or Silence the Believers that way you can still get your tokens, and a huge trampler.

The Scourge is pretty interesting, but I feel like its power level isn't high enough to warrant running. It only truly works well with Hooded Hydra, and the deck doesn't necessarily need a trampler as its trying to win with direct damage most of the time, and has the Queen to go over the top. A good card to keep in mind in case the deck's purpose shifts a bit later on.

trample was just a bonus, was trying to figure out something to do in response to the hydra getting exiled so you would still get tokens and purphy damage. i dont know about your meta, but in mine theres more exile than destroy right now.
