Sideboard

Holy wow this deck is blistering fast and has enough tricks to leave your opponent completely tilted!

I've seen Purphoros, God of the Forge as a crazy powerful card all of standard and I think I can safely say I've found a deck that makes him work. Hornet Nest + Crater's Claws + Purphoros, God of the Forge is so insane!

The deck is basically devotion, all the usual ramp into a completely different top end from the norm. Rattleclaw Mystic works amazingly to both disguise and fuel your Hooded Hydra , a card that is big game against spot removal and boardwipes.

And don't even get me started on Crater's Claws in here! The devotion shell makes it huge enough to finish games, or if you don't have the mana for that, you can direct it to your Nest to just win with Purphoros, and the card even provides removal if you need it!

Comments and questions are appreciated and welcome, and don't forget to +1!

The devotion shell was explosive, but it just wasn't getting there most of the time, so I switched it out for the more solid G/r Monsters shell, complete with Ashcloud Phoenix and Stormbreath Dragon, which could actually feasibly get a Purphoros active. The Chord of Calling component was fun, but just too hard to cast if the opponent had any kind of disruption, unfortunately.
